Pairs Cricket Competition 2011

The players and umpires

On a warm and pleasant evening in the delightful setting of Amersham Cricket Club, six pairs of cricketers batted, bowled and fielded to try to win the competition. Fair play was managed by two umpires, Past Master Geoffrey Farr and Liveryman Richard Brumby.

The winners were two guests, Mark Warren and Martin Bugg. A buffet supper in the pavillion for 28 attendees followed, and the prizes were kindly given by the Master.

The event was organised by Assistant Peter Simeons with the help of Liveryman Simon Curtis.
