The Feltmakers are sad to report the death at the age of 90 of Sir Kenneth Garnar Newton, 3rd Baronet of Beckenham. He died at his home on 12th August 2008.  Sir Kenneth was master of this company in the years 1983-4 and was also a past master of the Leathersellers Company. He was the beloved husband of the late Maggie, as well as being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. 

There was a private cremation followed by Service of Thanksgiving on 29th August at 2.30 pm at St Mary's Church, West Chiltington, West Sussex.  Those wishing to make donations are requested to send these to The Mary How Trust, c/o H.D. Tribe Ltd., Storrington (01903 742585).
