City Briefings 2008-2010

The City of London regularly runs a briefing designed to help new liverymen understand more about the work of the City, its government and the role of liveries and liverymen in this. These briefings are very useful, not just for new liverymen, but also for people who have been liverymen for some time, but who do not have a clear understanding of the fascinating workings of the Lord Mayoralty and the machinery of City government.

The briefings are free and liverymen are welcome to bring along their wives, husbands or partners. The briefings are held in the evenings from 5.00 PM to about 8.00 PM at Innholders Hall in the City. A light finger buffet is included. This is also a good chance to meet other new liverymen from across all the livery companies. Attending one of these briefings is thoroughly recommended.

For more information and to download a form applying for a place see this link: City Briefings.
