The first weighing, 7 April 2008

 The first official weighing of our Master, Geoffrey Vero, took place in the Skinners Hall on Monday 7 April, just before the Livery's splendid Spring Dinner.

Modesty and decorum were maintained throughout the proceedings as Geoffrey removed only his shoes for this event.

15 stones 5 lbs. - The evidence

Geoffrey weighed in at 15 stones and 5 pounds. We have no record of his weight after the Spring Dinner!

 All Liverymen are asked to sponsor this brave attempt by the Master to keep his weight at no more than 15 and a half stones by the end of his period in office. Indeed sponsorship from anyone else who would like to support the very worthwhile charity that all proceeds will go to is also very welcome.
